Adebayor talks planned

Emmanuel Adebayor's agent will discuss the striker's future with Arsene Wenger at the end of the season. The Arsenal striker has been strongly linked with a move away from Emirates Stadium after coming under fire from a section of the club's own fans. They have never got over the fact that Adebayor almost joined AC Milan - who remain interested in the Togo international - last summer. Adebayor admits the criticism has got to him and reports in recent days have seen Chelsea strongly linked, while AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi has confirmed his interest. The striker's agent Stephane Courbis insists a meeting is already in place when his client's long-term future will be decided. "I have not read the statements from Mr Berlusconi, I can say that there is no news on Milan or Inter as I have not been contracted," he insisted. "I have not spoken with Wenger either, as I have also not spoken with Chelsea. "I have to take stock of the situation with Wenger and at this moment it is premature to talk about any of these things." Courbis refused to confirm that his charge would be staying with the North London giants. "I do not now if the future of Emmanuel is with Arsenal," he told Calcio Mercato. "The only certainty is that at the end of the season I will meet with Wenger to asses the situation." Courbis did play down the recent condemnation of Adebayor from some Arsenal fans. "Emmanuel is not criticised by the entire stadium, some of the fans think that way, some another," he said. "That dispute is only a small part of things, and Wenger has defended the boy which only shows what a good relationship there is between the coach and Emmanuel."
