AC Milan star Kaka set for Real Madrid medical ahead of world record move

Kaka will have a medical on Monday before completing a £56million move from AC Milan to Real Madrid. After helping Brazil to a 4-0 demolition of Uruguay on Saturday night - his country's first competitive victory in Montevideo - the 27-year-old would only say: 'I'll talk soon about my future.' But it is understood Madrid doctor Juan Carlos Hernandez has arrived in Recife and the Brazilian federation will allow Kaka to be put through tests. AC Milan are expected to confirm the transfer today. However, Kaka will not be unveiled at the Bernabeu until the end of the month. Brazil face Paraguay in a World Cup qualifier in Recife on Wednesday and then head to South Africa for the Confederations Cup. Chelsea and Manchester City were also in the running to sign him but Real appear to have won the race.
