AC Milan deny Chelsea and Man City want World Cup winner Gattuso

Manchester City and Chelsea are not interested in signing Gennaro Gattuso, according to AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani.[LNB]The 31-year-old midfielder has been linked with a move to the Premier League in the January transfer window, but Galliani has played down such talk.[LNB] Reunited? 'I have also spoken to (Chelsea manager Carlo) Ancelotti and Rino (Gattuso) is not in his plans.'[LNB]Gattuso admitted last month he was considering a move away from Milan having seen his playing time decrease since Leonardo replaced Ancelotti at the helm in the summer.[LNB]The Rossoneri confirmed this week they had offered Gattuso a contract extension.[LNB]The Italy international has yet to respond, but Galliani is confident Gattuso will remain at the San Siro and has reminded the player he is tied to the Rossoneri until June 2011.[LNB]'I am not aware that Gattuso wants to leave,' he added.
