30 million pound Cesc: Chelsea Pushing For London Return

Once deemed an impossibility, Cesc Fabregas is being lined up by Mourinho to replace Frank Lampard.

In the last 2 hours The Independent, Telegraph and Guardian confirm Chelsea's interest.

Both Manchester club had also shown interest but Louis Van Gaal unlike Moyes is not interested and Man City have the turmoil of dealing with Yaya Toure whilst he's at the World Cup.

With bad blood between the Chelsea manager and Fabregas from his Arsenal days, the Gunners could have the nightmare scenario of fighting the Chelsea team for the EPL title and Champions League qualification against a strong Chelsea team that includes Fabregas.

Fabregas will feel let down Wenger won't re-sign him, however with his love for the speed and passion of the EPL, a return to London at Chelsea looks almost certain.

Atletico Madrid star Koke has been Chelsea's main target this summer, but Barcelona has come calling and Chelsea will look to Cesc as already proven and a good match for Chelsea's creative ambitions.

In Abromavich anything is always possible, which is why the signing of both Fabregas and Koke could still be possible.

Mourinho made no secret of his current Chelsea team not being his team yet. These two signing would show intent and signal he is back in business and building for the long term.

Fabregas a two club man had hopes of finishing his career at Barcelona, but Luis Enrique's has been distant and unwilling to confirm if Fabregas will feature in his plans.

With Ozil, Cazorla, Ramsey and Wilshere, would Arsenal fans persuade Wenger to accomodate their previous captain?
