Stav handed Addicks chance

The player was told back in February that he would make the step up from the club's academy and he has put pen to paper on a one-year deal. A Cyprus youth international, Stavrinou was converted from a centre-back to a central midfielder by Under-16s coach Steve Avory. He has since gone on to flourish in that role, making a total of 22 appearances for the Under-18s last season and also playing 12 times for the club's reserve-team.
