Soares set to leave Addicks

Charlton Athletic have decided against extending the loan spell of Stoke City winger Tom Soares.

Soares, 22, made 11 appearances for the Championship's bottom club after arriving in January, but was left out of the side that drew 0-0 with Preston North End on Saturday.

He scored one goal in a 2-1 defeat at Bristol City back in February.

"Tom did well for us but he's going to go back," manager Phil Parkinson told the South London Press.
