Osei Sankofa is the latest player to be released by Charlton Athletic as the club contemplates a second successive season in the Championship.
The 23-year-old has spent almost a decade at The Valley but has been restricted to only 19 first-team appearances.
Addicks boss Alan Pardew told the club's official website: "We both felt that it was time that Osei got some first-team football.
"He's at an age where reserve team football is no good to him, and therefore we've decided to give him that opportunity elsewhere. I wish him all the best because he's been a very good professional for this football club."
Pardew has already told Cory Gibbs and Chris Powell that they will not be retained for next season.
