Reid knee woe for Addicks

Charlton Athletic will be without Andy Reid for up to eight weeks after the skipper was ruled out with knee ligament damage.

The Republic of Ireland international limped out of last weekend's 4-2 defeat at the hands of West Bromwich Albion and scans have revealed a tear to his medial ligament.

Meanwhile, the Addicks will also be without Darren Ambrose and Zheng Zhi for the weekend clash with Hull City.

China skipper Zheng (calf) and Ambrose (knee) also picked up knocks in the game at The Hawthorns.

However, leading scorer Chris Iwelumo could be fit to face the Tigers after shrugging off an ankle problem.
