Pardew slams weak Addicks

Charlton Athletic boss Alan Pardew hit out at his side's defending in the crushing 5-3 weekend defeat at Blackpool.
The result left the Addicks occupying the final play-off place in the Championship, but a massive ten points adrift of leaders Stoke City.
Pardew told the club's official website: "There are no excuses. It was purely that they were better than us and although scoreline could have been different, it wasn't.
"It was a really bad performance on our part and we gave away some really bad goals defensively.
"The back four did not function. There were too many individual errors and we didn't cope very well with their front two.
"It's a blow to our hopes and we are now playing catch-up. I'm very disappointed and I expect a lot more from certain individuals."
