Pardew fires player warning

Charlton manager Alan Pardew has warned his struggling players that any more performances like the one they produced in Saturday's 3-1 defeat by Middlesbrough could cost them their place at the club.
The Addicks' hopes of avoiding relegation from the Premiership look to have virtually disappeared after they lost The Valley and afterwards the new boss fired a warning to his under-performing squad.
"We must play at full throttle for 90 minutes in our position and we did that until their second goal when our spirit went a bit and after the third goal we faded," he admitted.
"We can't let that happen and the last 15 minutes did not put a good gloss on the performance.
"Fortunately not too much damage was done because of the results of the teams around us.
"Being honest may not be enough. We need to have more quality and if I can't find it in the present group of players I will have to bring others in.
"We mustn't lose heart in matches when things go against us."
