Pardew eyes Wolves clash

Charlton Athletic manager Alan Pardew remains upbeat about his side's prospects of securing a play-off place in the Championship.

The Addicks drew 1-1 at home to West Bromwich Albion on Good Friday, with Pardew admitting that his side had needed a victory to keep their promotion hopes on track.

He said afterwards: "We were desperate for a win, but I thought it was a good game, it ebbed and flowed and a draw was probably a fair result.

"We feel we can still make the play-offs. The percentage chance of us doing it has gone down, we need four or five wins now, but we are more than capable of doing that.

"We have Wolves next week and you can't help but think that will be a key game for our run-in, but the feeling in the camp is that we can still do it."
