Murray slams Bent talk

Charlton Athletic chairman Richard Murray has attempted to draw a line under the endless speculation linking England striker Darren Bent with a January exit from The Valley.
The 22-year-old, who is currently sidelined by an ankle injury, has again been linked with a switch to join former manager Alan Curbishley at West Ham, but Murray insists that no deal is in the offing.
He told the club's official website: "Darren isn't going anywhere.
"We've seen another batch of press speculation over the weekend and the club has been inundated with journalists wanting to know how much we want and where he is going.
"Well, let's make this nice and simple, he's not going anywhere.
"Darren is an extremely important part of our squad and he isn't leaving us."
Bent has netted 11 goals this season for the Addicks, but hasn't featured since scoring in the 2-1 win over Aston Villa at the end of December.
