Jackson makes swift Magpies return

Published: 11 Mar 2010 - 14:19:00

Jackson limped off during last weekend's win over Stockport and after visiting a specialist has now returned parent club County. "It's worse than we first feared. It's disappointing news for Johnnie and us," said Addicks boss Phil Parkinson. "He's done very well for us in the short time he has been here, but his loan was due to end after the Millwall game anyway, and we'll move on." Jackson had been filling in at left-back for Charlton after injuries to Kelly Youga and Grant Basey, but Parkinson has ruled out another dip into the loan market ahead of Saturday's trip to The Den. "We've got a few options within the squad so we'll probably go with what we've got," added Parkinson. "Kelly is back in training and has made himself available but we'll assess everyone in training on Friday."
