Veteran midfielder Matt Holland is hoping to agree a new contract to extend his stay with Charlton Athletic.
The 34-year-old was recently named as the club's Player of the Year, with his current deal set to run out in the summer.
He told the club's official website: "There haven't been any talks. It was all put on the back-burner until we knew where we were next season.
"But we know our destiny now, so I'm sure I'll be sitting down with the manager over the next couple of weeks to see where we go from here.
"I wouldn't like to put a figure on when I'll retire. I just want to enjoy my football and play for as long as I possibly can. While I feel fit and able I'll continue to do that."
Holland joined the Addicks for £750,000 from Ipswich Town in the summer of 2003 and has scored 13 goals in 175 appearances for the south London club.
