Charlton Athletic have transfer-listed forward Jason Euell, who is a target for Premiership newcomers Watford.
The 29-year-old has not featured for the Addicks this term, having been set to join Birmingham City last season and accepts that he needs to move on to gain first-team action.
Euell said: "I was determined to fight for my place, but now I have had talks with the manager and as a result I have been made available for transfer.
"There is only a week left to find a new club, but the aim is to remain a Premiership player."
Meanwhile, Addicks boss Iain Dowie is hoping to make some last-minute moves in the transfer market, adding: "We are continuing to look at all areas where we can strengthen the squad.
"There are one or two areas which I'd like to improve. but I'll keep those to myself. Whether or not it happens before the deadline we're not sure."
