Dowie not ready to panic

Charlton Athletic manager Iain Dowie insists he does not fear the sack despite his side's position at the foot of the Premiership table.
The Addicks were held to a goalless draw by fellow strugglers Watford on Saturday, prompting a section of The Valley faithful to make their displeasure known at the final whistle.
Dowie said: "If you lose seven out of nine games with only four points, then it does not take a rocket scientist to know you are going to be under pressure.
"But you cannot worry about the sack, because it is inevitable. It is going to happen sometime in your career.
"I know that when I do leave this club, I will have done everything I can.
"As long as you want to work as hard as you can to make the players the best they can be, then that is all you can ask."
Dowie also insisted he was happy with his players' display against Watford, despite seeing them squander a series of gilt-edged scoring chances.
He added: "It is very frustrating, but that is where we are. However, you have to keep your head while others around you are losing theirs.
"You have got to look at the bigger picture, and that is did the lads give everything they had? Yes, they did.
"That is the key. Yes, I would like to be sitting in mid-table, but we are not.
"My staff and the players have the will to face this head-on and that is what we have to do."
