Benson happy at Valley

Charlton striker Paul Benson believes his new side's excellent team spirit could help them return to the npower Championship.Benson joined the Addicks from Dagenham at the end of the transfer window, and hailed his teammates' attitude upon his arrival. "It's been brilliant here," he told the club's official website. "I've been made to feel really welcome. There are a great set of boys down here."I wasn't sure what to expect, but I've been welcomed with open arms. I feel like I've been here six or seven months when really it's close to two weeks."I was welcomed as soon as I walked through the door. I got on with the manager [Phil Parkinson] really well. All the questions I wanted answering, he'd already told me the answer before I asked."There are no egos, it's a good bunch and this is the right club for me. It's a bigger club than the Daggers but they're both very special clubs. I think - and I hope - I've made the right move."
