Addicks snub Fleetwood bid

Charlton Athletic boss Phil Parkinson has rejected an initial offer from Exeter City for striker Stuart Fleetwood.

The 23-year-old ended last season on loan with the Grecians, scoring three goals in nine appearances to help City gain promotion to League One.

Parkinson told the South London Press: "Exeter are still interested in Stuart, but they remain quite a long way short of our valuation.

"We would almost be giving him away at the moment and it would make no sense for us to do that."
