Charlton Athletic have rearranged Linvoy Primus' loan deal so that he can play in a rescheduled game next month.
Primus' initial 93-day stay at The Valley from Portsmouth was due to expire on December 13th - the original date of a Championship game against Derby County.
However, after the game was rescheduled due to live television coverage, the Addicks sought to alter the timing on his loan departure.
"Following discussions with The Football League and Primus' parent club, Portsmouth, the Addicks brought the loan of the central defender to an end on Thursday following his first 28 days at the club," read a club statement.
"However, the loan will restart on October 17th - the day before the Addicks take on Cardiff City following the international break - and means his final two months at The Valley will include the games against Derby and Norwich.
"Charlton asked the league for guidance because the club had no control over the change of the date of the fixture."
