Charlton Athletic are reported to be closing in on a deal for MK Dons striker Izale McLeod.
The 22-year-old has scored 60 goals in 135 appearances for the Dons and is being lined up by the Addicks as a replacement for Darren Bent, who joined Spurs in a £16.5million deal.
McLeod's agent, Gino Culbertson, told Sky Sports: "I'm hoping things will progress over the next few days.
"We have been through the preliminaries and are at the point now where we're waiting for a firm bid to come forward.
"Dons chairman Pete Winkelman has been very fair about things and realises that Izale's future lies elsewhere.
"It looks as if he will have a good choice of a new club, as there are a number of sides competing for his signature if the money is right."
