Addicks expect Zhi to leave

Charlton Athletic have confirmed that Zheng Zhi will be leaving the club at the end of the season.

The 28-year-old China international is out of contract in the summer and assistant manager Mark Kinsella doesn't expect it to be renewed.

Zhi has made only a handful of appearances this season due to injury.

"Zizi's contract ends at the end of this season, so I am expecting him to leave," said Kinsella. "He is a quality player and we were never the same after he got injured.

"Had he been fit, we would probably be higher up on the table now."
