Wilder hails Oxford after win

Oxford boss Chris Wilder praised his play-off chasing side following their 2-1 win over Crewe. James Constable scored both goals to ensure Ajay Leitch-Smith's late goal was a mere consolation. "It was a good win, and my players showed a good reaction after the Tuesday night game against Stevenage. But it's only a good reaction if we kick on from here," Wilder said. "The players were a bit tentative at times, but once we got into our stride, we more than held our own against a decent side." "The players have to show consistency, that's the key word, and we all know it. "Crewe's goal at the end came with a deflected shot which wrong-footed the goalkeeper. it's a bit disappointing because I think we deserved a clean sheet."
