Wagstaff gunning for top spot

The Addicks closed in on Leeds thanks to a 2-1 win at Stockport while the League One leaders were held to a goalless draw by Brentford.[LNB]Charlton are now also six points clear of third-placed Norwich who drew with Yeovil at the weekend, and Wagstaff admits the results gave them all a big boost.[LNB]He told the official website: "We had a chat with the gaffer straight after the game and found out some of the other results, which was pleasing as Leeds dropped two points and Norwich dropped a couple as well.[LNB]"I think we're going in the right direction and hopefully we can try to catch Leeds. We just want the games to come thick and fast now. We're full of confidence and everyone's playing really well and working hard for each other, so it's good times at the moment.[LNB]"There's not much point in going for second, we want to go for top. Obviously, our main aim this season is to get promotion, but I definitely feel that we're able to catch up to Leeds."[LNB][LNB]
