Spring set to fight for Addicks place

The former Leeds and Watford player has struggled to hold onto a regular first-team berth this season, with just seven league starts to his name.[LNB]However, the 30-year-old has now revealed that a short-term loan move would not interest him unless he was told his services were no longer required by Parkinson.[LNB]Spring told Sky Sports: "I'm not aware of any offers coming in for me this month, so unless I hear otherwise I'll just focus on earning a recall to the side.[LNB]"If the gaffer came to me and said it is probably better if you go out and get some games, then I'd give it a go, but as far as I am aware I am needed here.[LNB]"It is frustrating, but I'm not one to moan about being left out of the side. I prefer to work hard in training and wait for my chance to show what I can do when selected."[LNB][LNB]
