Small gets on board at Charlton
The 25-year-old, who is a free agent after leaving Hillsborough at the end of last term, trained with the Addicks over the summer and appeared in a number of pre-season friendlies.
Small will go straight into Parkinson's injury-hit squad for Tuesday night's Carling Cup trip to Hereford.
