Powell upbeat despite defeats

Charlton manager Chris Powell is refusing to be downbeat despite suffering back-to-back defeats. Powell won his first four games in charge of the Addicks, but has now been on the end of losses to Hartlepool and Exeter. Charlton have now slipped outside the play-off places, yet Powell said: "You are going to lose games but it is about bouncing back and having that belief in what you are trying to achieve. "When you're winning you don't get too high and when you lose you can't get too despondent. "We've got a good team out there, it just didn't happen."
