Powell has plenty to ponder

Charlton manager Chris Powell saw his side beaten 2-0 at Walsall and admitted it was a tough call building a squad capable of challenging for promotion. Powell added he would not be discussing new contracts for players until after the final game of the season, which he stressed would not be an "audition". Powell said: "It's a tough job and no matter whether you are up the top, in the middle or the lower reaches. "This is a tough league, that's for certain and we have to handle the fact we are seen as a big scalp. "It's something the players and myself have to deal with at home or away. But it took Leeds three years to get out of this division. It's not easy. "We have to make sure we come back in the summer and make sure we are ready for the beginning of next season."
