Parky - Scoreline was harsh

28 August 2010 19:30
Charlton boss Phil Parkinson felt his side were hard done by as they fell to a 3-1 defeat at Huddersfield. Jordan Rhodes, Jamie McCombe and Gary Roberts were on target before Matt Fry hit a late consolation for the Addicks. Parkinson said: "I don't think 3-1 was a fair reflection. For the first 25 minutes we were the better side. We were excellent but goals change games. "In the second half, when we were 2-0 down, we chased the game and left ourselves exposed but I felt the next goal was important. "Huddersfield played well but I don't think there's a huge difference between the two sides and we deserved something from the game. "The final ball or the final shot just let us down but we will get back at it and learn from this."
