Parky pleased with Posh performance

Charlton boss Phil Parkinson was a predictably happy man after seeing his side climb into the npower League One automatic promotion places with a 5-1 win at Peterborough. Wideman Johnnie Jackson opened the scoring from the penalty spot after Grant McCann had fouled Scott Wagstaff in the area and Therry Racon doubled the lead. Jackson grabbed his second before substitute Lee Martin put the Addicks four up before half-time and though McCann pulled one back, Martin sealed the rout as Charlton claimed a fourth straight league success. Parkinson said: "We are obviously delighted to have climbed into the automatic promotion places, but just getting there alone at this stage of the season doesn't mean anything. "We are on a terrific run and it is vital we continue to focus on the things we are doing well. If we continue to do that, hopefully the results will follow. "This scoreline will make people sit up and take notice. We produced an absolutely outstanding performance, especially in the first half. Peterborough did grab a goal back but we killed the game off with a fifth goal."
