Parky penalty pain

Charlton boss Phil Parkinson felt hard done by after his side crashed 1-0 at Exeter courtesy of a late penalty. Ryan Harley netted the winner from the spot after Addicks goalkeeper Rob Elliot was adjudged to have fouled Jamie Cureton. "We lost our concentration with a ball over the top and we shouldn't have got done in that situation," said Parkinson. "I was shouting to our back four to keep their concentration. "We haven't played great and we would probably have been happy to come away with a 0-0, but I thought the referee couldn't wait to give the penalty. "The ball went to the right as if the player had made contact with the ball. It was right in front of the home fans and you quite often get those against you away from home. I haven't seen the decision again, but I was disappointed with it. I think the ref was swayed by the crowd. "But I am not going to blame the referee because we should have dealt with the ball over the top in the first place."
