Two first-half goals in quick succession from Deon Burton and Nicky Bailey paved the way for three points on their first visit to Victoria Park. And, with six points from two games in League One, the Addicks are showing they mean business when it comes to making an early statement. "I thought it was a comfortable victory for us, pleasing to come to here and win because it is a tough test - it's a real indicator of football in this division," said Parkinson. "I was very pleased the performance, we showed a lot of professionalism, commitment and the quality we needed. It was very, very windy but we dealt with the conditions well." Parkinson added: "The big plus for me was the professionalism of the team - we looked solid and that was important. We have to come to places like this and win if we are to achieve our aim this season of promotion."
