Parky biding time with youngsters

Teenage winger Wagstaff climbed off the bench to hit the Addicks' second goal in Saturday's 2-0 win over Walsall. Rookie striker Tamer Tuna is also banging on the first-team door, but Parkinson will not risk the youngsters before he feels they are ready. "It's a delicate balance with young players. If you put them in the team too early it can be damaging," he said. "So we're trying to give them their chance when we feel they're ready to cope with the crowd and the level and pace of first-team football."
