Charlton manager Phil Parkinson is confident the big Boxing Day clash with Southampton at The Valley will go ahead.
The Addicks have appealed to supporters to help clear the snow around the ground to ensure the match beats the big freeze.
Parkinson said: "As it stands at the moment, it is looking promising.
"I was down at The Valley on Tuesday and it's looking good.
"You never know what the weather is going to bring over the next two or three days but at the moment you've got to say it has got a great chance."
