No Sodje for Charlton

Charlton will be without striker Akpo Sodje when they make the trip to leaders Brighton. Sodje suffered a shoulder injury during the 1-0 defeat by Walsall earlier this month and is not expected back for another couple of weeks. Manager Phil Parkinson will recall winger Johnnie Jackson and frontman Paul Benson after they dropped to the bench for Charlton's last outing, the penalty shoot-out defeat at Brentford in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy a fortnight ago. Parkinson has a selection dilemma at right-back after teenager Carl Jenkinson's fine debut performance against the Bees. Simon Francis was rested and will push to reclaim his spot while Marcel Seip returns after being cup-tied to provide a third option. Defenders Chris Solly (ankle) and Kelly Youga (knee) remain on the sidelines.
