More rest for Youga

Charlton defender Kelly Youga faces at least another fortnight on the sidelines. The 24-year-old left-back has been out of action since suffering a knee injury against Bristol Rovers in late November. Addicks physio Steve Allen told the club's official website: "Kelly hyper-extended his left knee against Bristol Rovers. "Following an MRI scan and consultancy with an orthopaedic surgeon it was shown that Kelly had also sprained his posterior cruciate ligament. "That seems to have now healed sufficiently but three further MRI scans, a CT scan and a bone scan have shown a small area of bone bruising which is causing him discomfort. "Following another consultation he has been advised to rest completely for two weeks. We'll then review his activity with a plan of hopefully returning to training if all is well."
