Minor role for ZZ against Germany

China took a shock lead against the Germans, 95 places above them in the FIFA world rankings, in the fifth minute when midfielder Hao lobbed Robert Enke from a tight angle. But Germany quickly equalised through Lukas Podolski, who raced clear moments later to slot past Yang Zhi. It was Zheng's first appearance for China since the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing last August and he hopes to play a bigger role against Iran in Qinghuangdao on June 1 and Saudi Arabia in Tianjin three days later.
