McLeod remains in limbo over loan

Millwall announced on Monday that McLeod's loan deal, which was until the end of the season, had been cancelled by mutual consent amid reports the striker had objected to being left on the bench against Oldham on Saturday. But Charlton boss Phil Parkinson insists the Lions have acted prematurely as the terms of the loan contract mean McLeod cannot represent his side for the rest of the campaign either. "It's not totally resolved yet," Parkinson told the News Shopper. "It's all very well Millwall saying they're sending him back, but the bottom line is we can't have him back and he can't play for the reserves or first team."
