MacDonald: Addicks just too good

07 September 2009 11:26
MacDonald, a former Addicks player, came on as a second-half substitute at The Valley following a five-month injury lay-off. But goals from Deon Burton and Lloyd Sam gave Charlton a comfortable win, their sixth straight victory, to leave MacDonald suitably impressed. "We are not going to be playing Charlton every week," he said. "They have the best midfield in the league, there won't be teams who go there and dominate possession. It wouldn't surprise me if Charlton ran away with the league."
