Injury worries for Parkinson

Charlton were left with more than just bruised egos following the 1-0 defeat at Exeter on Saturday. Boss Phil Parkinson now has a number of injury concerns ahead of next weekend's trip to Notts County. Akpo Sodje collapsed at the final whistle following a clash of heads while Lee Martin and Kyel Reid picked up knocks. "Akpo was taken to hospital as a precaution but hopefully it will not be too bad," said Parkinson. "Reidy and Lee Martin both got knocks but I don't think it was anything too serious. Lee's was an impact injury and Kyel's hamstring just tightened up a bit. "Johnnie Jackson didn't play because he's missed a lot of training with an Achilles problem. I can't make an excuse though. We haven't got that many injuries and we rested people against Dagenham on Tuesday that we felt needed a rest."
