Striker Andy Gray is on the mend following the stress fracture of the pelvis which ended his season prematurely and midfielder Dean Sinclair is making good progress from his knee injury. Centre-half Jonathan Fortune, who is discussing a new contract at The Valley, is back in training having been out since January with a ruptured Achilles and midfielder Jose Semedo is fully fit following an ankle injury. "Andy has been training individually with the physio team during pre-season and is set to resume training soon," head physio Steve Allen told the club's official website. "Dean had a chondral defect of his knee. He saw a consultant last week, who was very pleased with his progress, and he has been given permission to step up his activities. "Fortune has returned to training while Semedo, who was injured at the end of last season, is also back in training."
