Hudson critical after Addicks demise

Hudson has been partnered by five different centre-halves - Jonathan Fortune, Linvoy Primus, Martin Cranie, Matt Holland and Darren Ward - during a season in which the club has used a total of 37 players as well as changing managers with Phil Parkinson replacing Alan Pardew in November. "We conceded too many goals. That's why you lose games," said Hudson. "That's been part of the problem but we've been quite disjointed throughout the season. There have been lots of changes with people coming and going and the manager departing. There are lots of little bits and bobs that all add up. "You like to have a settled side in this league and the teams at the top seem to have that with their starting XI and a couple who come off the bench. "It does make it hard to gel but that's the situation we've been in and we've had to deal with it."
