Grecians boss eyes double swoop

Centre-half Archibald-Henville has been training with the Grecians and featured in Wednesday's pre-season friendly against his parent club at St James's Park. Manager Paul Tisdale is optimistic about signing the 20-year-old on a temporary basis, and said: "Hopefully Troy will be with us on loan. Hopefully. It hasn't been signed but we are hoping to get it done very quickly." Exeter made a bid for striker Fleetwood at the start of the month but the Devon club have yet to hear back from Charlton and Tisdale admits his hopes of signing the 23-year-old are fading. "There is no update. There have been no developments. We have left the offer and it will be there for a short period of time and we will probably move onto the next one now. They have neither accepted it or turned it down," said the City boss.
