Danny Graham`s strike proved enough to hand Watford a 1-0 pre-season triumph over Charlton at Vicarage Road.
The striker continued his impressive form with the only goal of the game with just eight minutes on the clock, reacting quickly to fire home after Marvin Sordell`s effort had been blocked.
Both sides had chances to add to the scoreline in an entertaining encounter but it was the hosts who emerged victorious by a slender one-goal margin.
