The Addicks took another step towards banishing the memory of last season's relegation by strengthening their position at the top of League One and maintaining their 100 percent record. Parkinson's side are barely recognisable from the sorry outfit that finished bottom of the Championship, and the manager hailed his squad for embracing a new, positive approach during the summer. "It's difficult to bounce back from what happened to us last year but we've started very well," said Parkinson. "From the first day of pre-season, it was all about re-establishing a winning mentality, right from the first game of seven-a-side we played. There's a different feel in the building and there's a freshness here. "We're pleased with what we've done and there will be a big feel-good factor at the training ground next week but nobody is getting carried away. We have a long way to go."
