Charlton have named their former striker Alex Dyer as assistant to new manager Chris Powell. Dyer left his role as reserves coach at West Ham over the weekend to return to The Valley, where he made 86 appearances and scored 15 goals. Powell has also confirmed Damian Matthew as his first-team coach and Keith Peacock as technical director. "I'm very pleased that Alex has joined the club, and that's the coaching team done now," said Powell.
