Doc doubtful for Addicks

Charlton boss Chris Powell could make changes to his starting line-up for the home clash with Tranmere. The Addicks have suffered four straight league defeats, and Powell may decide to shake things up in a bid to get back to winning ways. Experienced defender Gary Doherty limped out of the 3-1 midweek defeat against Carlisle with a hamstring problem and is a major doubt, so Jonathan Fortune or Miguel Llera will fill the void at centre-half. On-loan West Ham left-back Matt Fry is hoping to recover from a knee injury in time to replace Carl Jenkinson, while Johnnie Jackson is hoping to recover from an Achilles problem to take his place in midfield. Scott Wagstaff and on-loan striker Nathan Eccleston are also pushing for starting berths, while Paul Benson is pushing for a recall alongside Bradley Wright-Phillips in attack. Striker Joe Anyinsah looks set to miss his second game in a week with an ankle problem.
