BWP set for Addicks return

Bradley Wright-Phillips should return to the Charlton squad for the visit of Rochdale.

Wright-Phillips, who is still the Addicks' top scorer with 14 goals despite not having found the net since November, was rested for Tuesday night's 1-1 draw against Bury.

Leon Clarke got the nod up front for his full debut, a month after joining from Swindon, while another January signing, Danny Haynes, came on as a substitute.

Dale Stephens, having recovered from an ankle injury, came through his first 90 minutes since October against Bury and should keep his place after hitting the Addicks' late equaliser.

Fellow midfielder Darel Russell is the only absentee as he serves the final game of a three-match ban for his sending-off against Sheffield United. Michael Symes is in line to make his Rochdale debut.

Symes made a loan move to Spotland from Bournemouth until the end of the season moments before the January transfer window closed.

He could be joined in attack by another new arrival, Paul McCallum, whose fellow West Ham loanee Peter Kurucz is set to continue in goal having extended his spell with Dale until the end of the current campaign.

Competition for places will be fierce following last weekend's impressive 3-0 derby victory over Bury, and Coleman has no new injury worries to report for his second game at the helm.

Defender Marc Twaddle returned to training this week following a lengthy period on the sidelines with a hamstring injury but the game comes too soon for him, while Simon Hackney continues his rehabilitation from an abdominal problem.
