Charlton Prepare For Pre Season In Spain

By 10 July 2013 01:33

The Charlton manager expects his players to do well in the two fixtures in Spain before any pre-season games back in the UK. A good Gibraltar side is expected to give Charlton a good game, and Chris Powell knows that, and to adjust in the Mediterranean heat.

Charlton have already won games very convincingly, and it’s a good platform to start the new season in the championship with wins under their belts.

There are one or two good clubs that were relegated last season such as Reading and of course Wigan, who will be hard to beat, but, it is hopeful that Charlton either get the promotion they deserve, or into the play offs, so it’s important that they get to a good start and keep the consistency going.

The supporters at home are of course the 12th man, there support is second to none, and must continue to support the club as much as possible throughout the games, that’s important.
