Charlton Athletic vs Barnet FC PREVIEW

16 November 2010 14:54
The Addicks take on the Bees in an FA cup first round replay which, if successful, will see Phil Parkinson's men welcome either Luton or Corby Town to SE7 in Round Two After the shock of Saturday’s result, passionate Addicks are advised to wrap up warm tonight, as the weather will get bitterly cold, and like any good Charlton fan. I’m very pessimistic that we’ll trounce Barnet quite like we defeated Peterborough. That said, the last time we met Barnet in the cup, it was the 2nd round of last season’s JPT, and Nicky Bailey’s thunderous free kick rounded off a 4-1 victory which saw Tamer Tuna net his first Addicks goal too. In terms of team news, Joe Anyinsah, Scott Wagstaff, Simon Francis and Rob Elliot were all reported to have taken knocks on Saturday with Anyi and Waggy having to be subbed off during the match, while Lee Martin hasn’t been given permission to play and Jose Semedo is suspended. With this in mind, my prediction for tonight’s starting line up is: GK: Ross Worner LB: Matt Fry CB: Miguel Llera CB: Gary Doherty RB: Jonathan Fortune © LM: Jonnie Jackson CM: Therry Racon CM: Alan McCormack RM: Kyel Reid CF: Paul Benson CF: Pawel Abbott   SUBS: Rob Elliot, Christian Dailly, Yado Mambo, Scott Wagstaff, Callum Harriott, Freddie Warren Akpo Sodje   COME ON YOU ADDICKS!!!!!
