Basey injury blow for Addicks
The 21-year-old suffered an ankle injury in the first minute of the recent loss to Bristol Rovers following a bad tackle from Dominic Blizzard.[LNB]It had been hoped Basey would return before the end of the current campaign, but a scan on Thursday showed Basey had suffered an ankle ligament injury and he will undergo surgery on Friday.[LNB]"Grant will have an operation tomorrow (Friday) and will be out for the season," Parkinson told the club's official website.[LNB]"We won't know exactly how long he'll be out for until after the operation."[LNB][LNB]
